I was born and raised in Northern Virginia. I went to Penn State University and graduated with a BA in Journalism. After college I came back to the DC area to work on Capitol Hill. I only stayed there for a year before I found myself at Catholic University to study for a Masters in Political Theory. While there, I learned about Catholicism for the first time and was captured by the beauty and reason of the faith.

After two years at CUA, I decided to switch my studies from political theory to theology and I converted from being Protestant to Catholic. Soon after, I graduated with a Masters in Theology from the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family at the Catholic University of America.

I am very excited to be at the Newman Center at GW. I look forward to getting to know each of you and making your time here at GW fun and rewarding. My door is always open so drop by the Newman Center anytime!
